This is dedicated to David Yerle. I follow his blog, David Yerle Writes, where he posts interesting stuff about science & technology. Makes soup of my pathetic, little pea brain.
David pointed out that I’ve become completely distracted from Irrelevant Discourse with an Immortal Nobody – the series of duologues which I initially intended to be the primary focus of this blog.
This one takes surreality a bit further than prior episodes, as it’s “set” just outside of Plato’s Republic – a “setting” which may require a few more episodes than usual.

Format is now perfect.
I don’t see that there’s any risk involved in hand-feeding a vaguely muscular do— oh. Of course … ‘vaguely’ … forgive moi.
Okay, I’ll bite—put me down for the next episode.
I agree with John, format is great now. Legible and original at the same time. Thanks for the mention and the kind words!
I really missed these posts. It’s like reading some deranged classic literature. I cannot explain it. It is just utterly original. Nobody else is doing this, that I’m aware of. Have you tried to get this kind of thing published? Have you heard of Comma, the publishing house? I think they’d like your stuff. They’re in the UK, though…
Hmm. Yes, they do seem cool. It shouldn’t matter that they are in the UK, should it?
It doesn’t take many muscles at all to produce an enchanting smile. But then again, I might have failed the test.
I’m not sure if that was a compliment for you or for me or a digression. Yet, it compelled me to follow your blog.
Well, trust me when I say I’ll take that as a compliment
The LIKE is for the nice font and formatting. I do not understand the post…Philosophy in any form sends me reeling to the fridge for a cold beer even though this probably isn’t philosophy.
Maybe I am just too tired or need to switch off my own 3rd party cookies, perhaps?
Or need to close my manuscript for a bit and go dig the garden?
What philosophy? No philosophy, here
Quit trying to understand it.
It takes several episodes before the state of confusion becomes familiar and begins to feel like understanding.
I am usually more confused by things that make sense on the surface — they don’t resonate — I resist them — that’s why I find peace in the transient & absurd.
However, I think you should go dig a hole in the garden for yourself. Become one with your plants — just for a bit. In fact, do you have paypal? I would pay 100 dollars to see a picture of that.
It would cost you a lot more than 100 bucks. However, if you are prepared to hang about for a few years it might just occur naturally and I’ll ensure the Missus sends you a photo….for Gratis and for nothing.
Can’t ask for more than that.
Bleh, I didn’t even have to 100 bucks to spare, anyway.
